Salary: $169,000 - $252,000 CAD

What you will do
- Set the technical direction for core replenishment R&D, defining the modeling roadmap for forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Model complex variables such as inventory decay, price elasticity, and multi-echelon supply chain uncertainties.
- Implement scalable, rigorously tested code to move research into production.
- Lead research and development for new product and business challenges.
- Mentor scientists and engineers while setting high standards for experimental rigor and design review.
Requirements
- MS (8+ years industry experience) or PhD (4+ years industry experience) in Operations Research, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative field.
- Experience building large-scale decision-making systems under uncertainty.
- Ability to deliver high-quality software implementations using the Python data stack (NumPy, PyTorch, Pandas).
- Must be based in Ontario, Canada.
- English: C1+ proficiency required for explaining complex mathematical ideas to product teams.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in game theory, decision analysis, stochastic optimization, or approximate dynamic programming.
- Understanding of ML Platform architecture and a passion for mentorship.
