What you will do

• Lead and grow a cross-functional team of Machine Learning Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Data Analysts.
• Guide research and experimentation efforts, balancing long-term innovation with immediate business impact.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to identify personalization opportunities that increase customer revenue.
• Act as a player-coach, contributing to architecture, model design, and key technical implementation decisions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production.
• 1+ year of experience in people management, including hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers.
• Strong Python skills and experience with large-scale distributed systems, APIs, and system design.
• Deep understanding of ML fundamentals and the end-to-end ML lifecycle.
• Experience with experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, and metric-driven development.
• English: C1 (Excellent) written and verbal communication skills required.
