TL;DR

EMEA AML Officer (Asset Management): Managing first-line AML tasks and responsibilities for EMEA funds and products with an accent on due diligence, third-party oversight, and regulatory compliance. Focus on designing efficient AML controls, managing third-party administrator relationships, and ensuring adherence to global financial crime regulations.

Location: Hybrid (must spend at least four full days per week in the Henley-on-Thames office)

What you will do

  • Design and manage 1st line AML processes and controls in alignment with policies and regulations.
  • Perform client due diligence (CDD), including KYC, risk assessments, PEP, and sanctions screening.
  • Provide oversight of third-party TA administrators to ensure AML quality and adherence to KPIs.
  • Manage AML-related internal and external audits, compliance monitoring, and reviews.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports for senior management and the Board.
  • Collaborate with the Global Financial Crime team on escalations and process implementation.

Requirements

  • Relevant AML experience within the Financial Services industry, preferably in asset management.
  • Proven experience managing regulatory change in both BAU and project environments.
  • Experience overseeing processes with third-party administrators.
  • Strong knowledge of current and upcoming AML regulations.
  • Degree or comparable professional work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and regulators.

Nice to have

  • Professional AML qualification.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Italian.
