TL;DR

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for banking app communication, including notifications and conversational flows.
- Develop secure APIs and integrations with internal banking systems using microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems through monitoring, alerting, and observability.
- Automate and improve the software development lifecycle via CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Implement security and compliance standards for secure communication and data protection.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building scalable solutions.
- Proven knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Must be based in the Netherlands (no relocation provided).
Nice to have
- Experience with Spring WebFlux.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Cloud Foundry.
- Experience with customer-facing messaging platforms or conversational solutions.
