TL;DR
Operations Software Engineer (EdTech): Building and owning integrations, data pipelines, automations, and internal tools across CRM, marketing, billing, logistics, and data systems with an accent on reliability, observability, testing, and maintainable architecture. Focus on designing resilient asynchronous workflows, diagnosing data consistency issues, resolving incidents at the structural level, and creating AI-assisted operational solutions.

is an educational organization developing a research-based mathematics program for schools, combining curriculum, teacher training, assessment, and intervention.
What you will do
- Build and own integrations between Salesforce, Iterable, Classroom Manager, Jira, the data warehouse, billing, and other core systems.
- Develop CRM functionality with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows, replacing fragile no-code solutions with maintainable code where appropriate.
- Design data pipelines and synchronization processes, investigate data drift, and handle API limits and edge cases.
- Create internal tools and services that automate manual workflows for Revenue and Operations teams.
- Apply engineering standards including version control, code review, CI/CD, documentation, monitoring, and incident post-mortems.
- Work with Engineering and Data, evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, resolve incidents, use AI-assisted automation, and mentor less technical colleagues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in backend or full-stack roles.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, APIs, testing, version control, and debugging complex systems.
- Professional experience with at least one of Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java/Apex, or PHP.
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs, webhooks, asynchronous processes, SQL, and analytical data.
- Fluent English and conversational Spanish.
- High autonomy, ownership, technical judgment, and interest in solving real business problems for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
Nice to have
- Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, and deployments.
- Experience with Make, Zapier, n8n, Databricks, dbt, Metabase, AWS, or infrastructure as code.
- Experience with marketing automation, email and data deliverability, B2B, or edtech companies.
- Experience with third-party SaaS platforms such as CRM, billing, ERP, or marketing automation systems.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
