Cloud AI Engineer (Golang) [Medior/Senior]

Location: Hybrid in A Coruña, Spain or Porto/Matosinhos, Portugal; no mandatory office days.

What you will do

• Implement backend solutions and APIs using Golang.
• Design and improve scalable, event-driven architectures and reliable data pipelines.
• Set up and improve CI pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment workflows.
• Use Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Helm to deploy and operate production applications.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams, gather requirements, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• Solid backend development experience with Go and API design.
• Experience with SQL databases, mainly PostgreSQL, and Kafka-based event-driven architectures.
• Experience defining and implementing GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of Docker, production deployments, coding, testing, debugging, and automation.
• Ability to design and implement efficient software architectures using Clean Code principles.
• Alignment with the values of integrity, curiosity, creation, and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, AI, OpenAI APIs, or machine learning.
• Experience with serverless functions, including Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of InnerSource, open-source usage, reusable components, infrastructure automation, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
