What you will do

• Define the strategy and product vision for a product family within the Therapeutics Discovery Domain to ensure high-impact scientific outcomes.
• Develop strategic product roadmaps, nurture stakeholder relationships, and drive the delivery of computational solutions.
• Collaborate with drug discovery scientists and the informatics ecosystem to advocate for future-facing capabilities and solutions.
• Manage budget projections and coordinate with implementation teams to execute the product vision.
• Contribute to the reduction of technical debt by consolidating or deprecating legacy systems.
• Establish and cultivate strong partnerships within the Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CS CoE) and other RED organizations.

Requirements

• Must be based in South San Francisco, CA (Relocation benefits are not available).
• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years of proven experience leading impactful internal solutions.
• Professional experience in a biotechnology setting with a deep understanding of scientific drug discovery processes.
• Strong expertise in Product Management, including vision definition, strategic thinking, and extended stakeholder management.
• Hands-on domain expertise in the design-make-test-learn aspects of biotechnology and scientific data management.
• Experience documenting detailed software requirements, user stories, and specifications for custom and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems.
