TL;DR
Software Developer for Test Frameworks Frontend Services (C++/Java): Designing and developing software for a test and simulation framework (TSF) with an accent on GUI elements, system programming, and cross-platform development. Focus on implementing unit tests, executing code reviews, and contributing to virtual engineering in a mixed simulation and hardware environment.
Location: Must be based in Manching, Germany. Candidates must be EU citizens or eligible for a German work permit.

What you will do
- Design and develop software for the test- and simulation framework (TSF) using C++.
- Develop TSF Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements.
- Implement and execute development tests (unit tests) and perform code reviews.
- Provide 2nd level rig support for the test support system AIDASS / MaTE and the simulation framework SI².
- Support customers in application development and system testing.
- Collaborate with software teams on technical concepts and continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT or Information Systems.
- Strong programming skills in C++, ADA, and Java following modern standards.
- Foundational knowledge in software design patterns, architecture, and system programming.
- Experience in modeling, model transformations, or code generation.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of frameworks such as Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP.
- Experience with OSGi or other languages like Python.
- Basic knowledge of networking, field busses, and distributed systems.
- Experience with avionic and non-avionic protocols (ARINC 429, TCP, UDP, HTTP).
