Desktop Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with partial remote work and flexible hours.

hirify.global builds reality-capture software that transforms image data from aircraft, drones, and mobile phones into georeferenced 2D maps and 3D models using computer vision, digital twins, and machine learning.

What you will do

• Design and implement features across QML-based user interfaces and backend logic for hirify.globalmatic.
• Participate in technical estimations, sprint planning, and the full feature lifecycle through release.
• Write maintainable C++ code and conduct code reviews to protect application stability.
• Integrate photogrammetry and image-processing algorithms developed by R&D teams.
• Investigate software defects and performance bottlenecks to improve the user experience.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in C++20 and good knowledge of Qt/QML for desktop development.
• Experience with Agile collaboration, technical estimation, sprint planning, and iterative product improvement.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Passionate, positive, collaborative, and respectful attitude aligned with hirify.global’s values.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D graphics, coordinate reference systems, geospatial data, Windows development, or TypeScript/Vue.
