Salary: £32,000 – £42,000

What you will do

• Deliver cost-effective sourcing of materials and establish robust commercial supply agreements.
• Manage and renew supplier contracts, ensuring compliance through a robust contract management program.
• Develop and maintain a supplier base to support growth and implement improvement programs.
• Establish savings funnels using VAVE and PPV to meet annual financial targets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set up accurate pricing and optimize inventory levels in SAP.
• Monitor supplier performance using monthly scorecards and lead periodic business reviews.

Requirements

• Demonstrable commercial experience in contract or project management.
• Proficiency with ERP software, specifically SAP, SAGE, or similar systems.
• Essential expertise in contract negotiation and risk mitigation techniques.
• Proven track record of delivering significant year-on-year bottom-line savings projects.
• Analytical mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in North Tyneside.
