What you will do

• Design and implement fintech and payment institution systems, including RTP, ledger systems, and core payment flows.
• Write and review production code for critical services using Java (Spring Boot).
• Lead technical decisions to ensure system resilience, security, and scalability.
• Ensure consistency across orchestration, ledger, and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
• Manage technical discussions, prepare materials for audits, and respond to regulatory requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience building or integrating real-time payment systems (e.g., PIX) from design to production in a bank or fintech.
• 8+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle, including technical leadership or mentorship.
• Ability to code in Java (Spring Boot), review code, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Solid experience with distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and critical payment flows.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
