Student Assistant - R&D (Mechanical Engineering)

What you will do

• Support the R&D department in developing, analyzing, and improving advanced mechanical systems.
• Perform engineering calculations, structural assessments, strength and fatigue analyses, and component sizing.
• Contribute to design verification, optimization, testing, validation, and root cause investigations.
• Support CAD-related tasks, technical documentation, and development of solutions for new products and existing installations.
• Collaborate closely with experienced mechanical design engineers on industrial product development projects.

Requirements

• Current student in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field.
• Solid theoretical understanding of mechanical design, strength calculations, lifetime analyses, and FE-based design.
• Structured, systematic, analytical working style with strong attention to detail.
• Curiosity and motivation to work with complex industrial machinery, documentation, and method development.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.
