What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical relationship owner for an assigned set of MSP/SP accounts, owning technical SE activities across partner stakeholders.
- Help MSP/SP partners create, package, and take to market differentiated SD-WAN and SD-Branch managed services based on VeloCloud and the Arista portfolio.
- Deliver tailored enablement across MSP/SP GTM, operations, NOC/support, and product management teams to position, sell, deliver, and support services.
- Drive operational integration of VeloCloud SD-Branch into MSP/SP OSS/BSS, service assurance platforms, and delivery workflows, including REST API guidance, log/metric export, and multi-tenant orchestration.
- Lead solution architecture, RFx technical responses, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) aligned to partner and downstream customer requirements.
- Co-develop managed services that expand beyond SD-WAN (e.g., campus switching, wireless, security) and provide structured product feedback to Arista.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in WAN, networking, or cloud services, with at least part of that time focused on Service Provider or Managed Service Provider environments.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), WAN technologies, and SD-WAN.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, solution design, and PoCs.
- Ability to build long-lasting credibility and relationships across MSP/SP stakeholders (technical operations through product management and sales).
- Knowledge of Linux, hypervisors, cloud computing, and operational tools for logs, metrics, events, and alerting.
- Must be located in the USA (qualified candidates can be located anywhere in the USA).
Nice to have
- Experience working with MSP/SP organizations and understanding their structure and operational processes.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting (REST APIs, Python, Ansible).
- Understanding of Service Provider routing environments, including MPLS VPN and Segment Routing (SR).
- Experience co-developing or enabling managed service offerings.
- Network industry certification.
