What you will do
- Own and evolve the Digital Portal product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy and operational objectives.
- Define product outcomes and success measures (e.g., reduced cycle time, improved data quality, enhanced transparency) and drive initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
- Continuously refine the product backlog with clear business context, acceptance criteria, and prioritization tied to outcomes.
- Partner with marketing, direct, partnerships, operations, finance, claims, compliance, technology, and external partners to modernize workflows, reduce operational friction, and enable scalable growth.
- Lead UAT planning and oversee Business Analysts’ execution to ensure solutions meet business intent and readiness standards.
- Monitor post-launch performance using KPIs and operational metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement and future roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in insurance, product ownership, business analysis, or operations, with exposure to direct-to-consumer and partnership lines or underwriting portfolios.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance operations, underwriting workflows, regulatory considerations, and policy administration ecosystems.
- Proven experience in an agile delivery environment with ownership of product roadmaps, backlogs, and prioritization decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills grounded in data and business outcomes.
- Hybrid role requiring two (2) days in the office weekly if the candidate is near one of the listed locations (Boston, MA or Hartford, CT).
