What you will do

• Design, code, test, and document software applications and high-performance platform services.
• Contribute to the design of larger software systems, ensuring alignment with security and modeling standards.
• Perform peer reviews and validate work to ensure high-quality engineering results.
• Assist with release management, including planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data science, business intelligence, and AI workflows.
• Participate in quality assurance tasks and routine issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and JSON.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data solutions and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Must be able to work in the Toronto office two days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with relational and NoSQL data storage mechanisms.
• Understanding of subsurface or geoscience data domains.
