What you will do

• Design, implement, and monitor highly scalable processes to ingest and process high-volume transactions.
• Collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into data fulfillment strategies and pipelines.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of data pipelines and contribute to the enhancement of the data engineering architecture.
• Develop standards for data processes and automate routine tasks to ensure efficiency and avoid conflicts.
• Write thorough documentation and tests for all developed processes and tooling.
• Manage and proactively monitor data flows to ensure data integrity and performance.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data or software engineering.
• University degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, RDBMS (Oracle), BigData (Hive, Impala), and Apache Spark framework (PySpark preferred).
• Strong experience with dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, and data streaming processing.
• Proven ability to solve problems and deliver results within an Agile environment.
