What you will do

• Design and build production backend AI modules, agentic workflows, reasoning chains, and tool-use pipelines.
• Architect and optimize RAG pipelines for unstructured, messy, and multimodal data using chunking, embeddings, reranking, and vector databases.
• Build agentic systems with deliberate tool selection, memory architecture, context management, and failure recovery.
• Deploy AI services with infrastructure-as-code and containerized environments, including repeatable development and production deployments.
• Develop unit, integration, and AI evaluation tests, and maintain logging, alerting, and cost monitoring.
• Abstract reusable internal tools and libraries from client implementations and contribute to platform architecture reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience, including at least 1 year building and shipping production AI agents.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases, advanced RAG optimization, and agentic orchestration.
• Strong Python and Node.js skills, including API design, asynchronous processing, parallel execution, and secure credential handling.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi, Docker, Kubernetes, and maintainable infrastructure at scale.
• Certified Claude Architect or the ability to earn the certification within the first 60 days.
• English at C1 level and availability to work remotely from Colombia.
