Senior Security Engineer (AI Security)

What you will do

• Review and threat model AI-powered product features, LLM integrations, and agentic workflows before launch.
• Build reusable AI security primitives such as guardrails, scanners, policy checks, and sandboxes.
• Design tooling to detect and prevent prompt injection, jailbreaks, tool misuse, and unsafe code generation.
• Partner with AI product and platform teams to define practical security controls.
• Convert isolated AI security issues into systemic fixes and measurable controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product security, application security, or backend engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in secure design review, threat modeling, and vulnerability prioritization.
• Hands-on experience building reliable backend services and security automation tooling.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM risks, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, and data leakage.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience securing RAG systems, agent frameworks, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Familiarity with AI red teaming, LLM evaluation, or agent sandboxing.
• Experience securing distributed systems using Kubernetes and microservices.
