What you will do

• Manage the hiring, onboarding, and growth of the Pre-Sales Solutions Architect team.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build the Databricks brand and expand presence in the UK&I region.
• Drive consumption revenue by strategically integrating Solutions Architects into sales cycles.
• Engage directly with key customer stakeholders to accelerate technical implementation decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a pre-sales leadership role managing Big Data, AI, or Cloud professionals.
• Must have experience in a customer-facing role across the Energy, Resources and Utilities sectors in the UK and Ireland.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for complex strategic accounts.
• Experience scaling and mentoring technical field teams.
• AI-native builder mentality: using AI to enhance productivity is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud software models and data-driven decision-making.
