Production Kitter

TL;DR

Production Kitter: Responsible for accurately collecting and preparing materials, components, and documentation required for cable assembly work orders. Focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production readiness, and ensuring all kit contents are complete and properly labeled.

Location: Must be based within a 50-mile radius of Thomaston, Connecticut. US Citizenship required.

Salary: $23–$26 per hour

What you will do

• Pull and verify parts and materials for production work orders based on BOMs and kit lists.
• Ensure kit contents are accurate, complete, and properly labeled.
• Communicate material shortages or discrepancies to relevant departments.
• Record excess or unused materials and track inventory quantities.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and shelf audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following lean practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, production, or inventory control.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be located within a 50-mile radius of Thomaston, CT.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
