Director, Enterprise AI Operations (Media)

Location: Must be based in California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington.

Salary: $180,000 - $195,000

What you will do

• Execute the internal AI roadmap in partnership with executive leadership to drive measurable business outcomes.
• Embed AI capabilities into existing workflows across Editorial, Audience, Revenue, and corporate functions.
• Lead enterprise-wide change management, including building enablement systems, training programs, and operational playbooks.
• Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI usage, including sourcing, attribution, and disclosure standards.
• Monitor AI adoption, ROI, and operational efficiency through reporting frameworks and dashboards.
• Manage the internal AI tooling ecosystem, including vendor evaluations and rationalization of platforms.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in transformation, operations, product, or program leadership.
• Proven track record in building and scaling AI operations or enterprise-level operational programs.
• Strong change management experience in large, complex organizations.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/LLMs to operational workflows.
• Must reside in one of the specified US states (CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA).
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate strategic direction into scalable implementation plans.

• Background in consulting, internal strategy, or operational excellence.
• Experience in digital media, publishing, or content-driven businesses.
• Experience operationalizing AI platforms such as OpenAI or Vertex AI.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Privacy, or Security teams on technology initiatives.
