Location: Hybrid (Bucharest). All candidates must have a valid visa and work permit to work in Romania.

What you will do

• Define and execute QA strategies to ensure software products and processes meet customer expectations and industry standards.
• Perform independent process compliance audits, release readiness reviews, and quality assessments (ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
• Monitor project health using quality metrics, KPIs, and compliance indicators to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Identify and escalate quality risks and non-conformities, facilitating corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide quality coaching and promote process adoption and maturity.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and safety managers to embed quality into every phase of the SDLC.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance principles.
• Experience with process compliance, audits, assessments, and quality management activities.
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, IATF 16949, and ISO 26262.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
• Ability to interpret quality metrics and KPIs to drive improvements.
• Valid visa and work permit to work in Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 Cybersecurity processes.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, ELM, or Power BI.
• Exposure to automotive embedded software development.
• Experience with AI-assisted quality engineering or GenAI-based verification solutions.
