What you will do

• Design and implement mobile and API test automation frameworks from scratch using Appium and Java.
• Define and enforce automation strategies to ensure high test coverage and reliability.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot defects and improve quality practices.
• Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices through code reviews.
• Analyze test execution results using Allure to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in Romania
• 5+ years of experience in Automation Test Engineering.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience with Maven.
• Solid experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of Mocha, Chai, and Axios for API testing.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in using AI tools to improve productivity and validate outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Android and iOS native application testing.
• Knowledge of performance and accessibility testing.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
