What you will do

• Evolve enterprise risk architecture, including risk appetite, taxonomy, governance standards, and escalation protocols.
• Translate risk data and trends into decision-useful reporting for senior stakeholders and acting as an independent advisor.
• Oversee risk-informed change governance for new products, new markets, and major systems changes.
• Strengthen the enterprise crisis management framework, including escalation triggers and executive response mechanisms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, STEM, or a related quantitative field.
• 5 to 7+ years of experience in risk management, operational risk, or compliance within financial services or fintech.
• Experience with defense frameworks, risk appetite statements, and governance processes.
• Familiarity with the regulatory environment for electronic money institutions and practical exposure to the Bank of Lithuania.
• Proven experience preparing risk papers and communicating with executives, Boards, or regulators.
• Must be based in Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-border payments, merchant acquiring, or card scheme environments.
• Risk governance experience within high-velocity product and engineering environments.
• Strong data literacy and proficiency with dashboards and metrics.
• A bias toward automation and AI to improve reporting and second-line efficiency.
