What you will do

• Identify and resolve clinical data quality issues across a multi-vendor EHR ecosystem.
• Map clinical data elements to standardized code systems and validate mapping accuracy.
• Ensure accuracy of quality measure programs (eCQM, MIPS, HEDIS) throughout the reporting pipeline.
• Act as the clinical subject matter expert for AI-powered extraction and interoperability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to build precise data specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Medical/Health Informatics, or a related field.
• 5+ years in clinical informatics, healthcare data analysis, or health information management.
• Strong skills in querying and validating clinical data using SQL.
• Deep knowledge of C-CDA/CCD structure, HL7 standards, and EHR systems.
• Experience with quality measure specifications (eCQM, MIPS, MCQM, HEDIS).
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks, AWS, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with FHIR resources and modern healthcare interoperability standards.
• Knowledge of applying machine learning or AI technologies within healthcare settings.
• Certification in clinical informatics (e.g., CPHIMS, CAHIMS).
