What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt data models across commercial, marketing, and clinical domains.
• Set technical standards for data modeling, testing, documentation, and code quality.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of analytical projects, from scoping requirements to stakeholder communication.
• Mentor data scientists and analysts to build a culture of best practices and continuous learning.
• Evaluate and implement AI-powered analytics tooling to shape the company's strategic direction.
• Drive data quality, reliability, and governance across the transformation layer.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
• Expert-level SQL (window functions, CTEs, optimization) and deep proficiency in dbt (macros, tests, CI/CD).
• Strong working knowledge of Google BigQuery or an equivalent cloud data warehouse.
• Experience with Looker (LookML) or an equivalent BI layer.
• Expertise in dimensional data modeling, including star schemas and slowly changing dimensions.
• Must be based in London for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a digital consumer scale-up.
• Hands-on experience evaluating or implementing AI/LLM tooling in a data or analytics context.
