What you will do

• Operate forklifts and related machinery to load and unload finished products and raw materials.
• Coordinate machine movements with team members using hand or audio signals to ensure safe positioning.
• Perform routine operator maintenance on fork trucks and conduct pre-use inspections.
• Manage material handling tasks including banding and palletizing of materials.
• Train and mentor personnel in the Equipment Operator I position.
• Monitor operations to ensure all health and safety standards are strictly met.

Requirements

• Must have a valid license and a clean driving record.
• Combilift certification is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as an Equipment Operator I or equivalent outside experience.
• Proven working knowledge of material handling, banding, and palletizing.
• Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
