What you will do

• Investigate heterogenous data management and polystore systems, applying AI and machine learning to data quality and integration.
• Develop tools and frameworks to enable scalable development of ML models across tabular, time series, text, audio, and video domains.
• Create distributed data processing architectures leveraging edge computing for predictive routing and adaptive environments.
• Collaborate with ATG researchers to identify data-related opportunities in applied AI for audio and video domains.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Strong background in relational databases, big data systems, and data analytic systems.
• Expertise in distributed systems, database storage engines, query processing, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
• Experience with git and project management tools such as JIRA.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks and Spark.
• Experience using multiple cloud services' data products and services.
• Experience with AI models and cloud-based software development of AI models.
