What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable features across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, and maintainability in a complex SaaS environment.
• Translate product goals into technical solutions to support long-term growth.
• Lead technical problem-solving and proactively resolve product-level issues.
• Contribute high-quality, reusable code and influence architectural decisions for scalability and security.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and process improvements to evolve engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Proven professional software development experience using Clojure.
• Strong understanding of scalable SaaS application development and modern software architecture.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience, including PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Must be based in Denver, CO, and able to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and engineering best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClojureScript.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, RabbitMQ, or ElasticSearch.
• Understanding of application security principles.
