What you will do

• Develop and execute experimental procedures to quantify and operate superconducting devices.
• Design and implement parametric enhancements to improve processor operation and performance.
• Build theoretical models and simulations to represent and analyze experimental results.
• Develop data analysis routines to fit theoretical models and detect outlier behavior.
• Contribute to the LISP software infrastructure for modeling and operating processors.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including engineering, IP, and marketing.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in physics or a related discipline.
• Strong software development experience for experimental design, automation, and data analysis.
• Proven ability to conduct independent research and solve complex technical problems.
• Location: Must be based in Burnaby, Canada.
• English: B2+ required.

Nice to have

• Background in quantum information, digital or analog superconducting devices, or device physics.
• Experience with noise models and characterization.
