Application / Systems Support Engineer (Java)

Location: Onsite in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Applicants must have an immediate right to work in Vietnam, such as Vietnamese citizenship.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day operations of complex application systems and participate in incident management.
• Debug business-impacting issues and troubleshoot application code to deliver bug fixes and enhancements.
• Apply operational standards and best practices to improve system stability, availability, and efficiency.
• Use continuous delivery practices to support and deliver high-quality software and client solutions.
• Configure logging, alerting, monitoring, and KPI reporting to identify incidents and their root causes faster.
• Work collaboratively across multiple client engagements and participate in a rotation- and need-based 24x7 support team.

Requirements

• Experience with Java frameworks, relational or non-relational databases, debugging tools, and code troubleshooting.
• Understanding of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines.
• Exposure to application monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Immediate right to work in Vietnam is required; English proficiency and confident communication with senior stakeholders are required.
