Maintenance Technician (Optical Manufacturing)

Compensation: $28 - $30/hour + $1.50 Shift Differential

What you will do

• Maintain and repair a wide range of optical manufacturing equipment, balancing production support and preventative maintenance.
• Install and troubleshoot in-line manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify faulty components using electronic testing tools and technical documentation.
• Service production equipment utilizing mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum system technologies.
• Execute and document daily, weekly, and monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules via the MCCS system.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of ladder logic used in PLC systems for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled robotic equipment and legacy relay logic systems.
• Experience operating scissor lifts and forklifts.
• Ability to use a multimeter and work safely around 480V power systems.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Must be based in Obetz, Ohio.
