What you will do

  • Act as the primary HRBP for the R&D organization, directly supporting the CPO, CTO, and CIO on strategic people questions.
  • Redesign roles and team structures to navigate the transition into an AI-first R&D engine.
  • Develop scalable talent strategies encompassing org design, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Utilize advanced people analytics and data signaling tools to spot trends and measure the effectiveness of people initiatives.
  • Build, coach, and lead a team of HRBPs supporting the R&D organization.
  • Collaborate with People function leaders on performance calibration, career architecture, and automated HR processes.

Requirements

  • 15-20+ years of HRBP experience, with a significant focus on R&D, Engineering, or Product in high-growth tech.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • Proven track record of partnering with C-suite executives on high-stakes strategic decisions.
  • Deep expertise in organizational design, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Strong data literacy and experience using analytics to drive HR strategy.
  • Must be located in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience guiding an organization through a major strategic pivot or structural transformation.
  • Background working in environments where AI is fundamentally changing the nature of work.
  • Ability to operate with urgency and create clarity within ambiguous situations.
