What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on navigation, communication, weapons control, and flight-control electronics.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions using system test sets, BIT data, and advanced diagnostic tools.
• Remove, install, and align avionics line-replaceable units (LRUs) following technical orders.
• Conduct operational checks, system calibrations, and functional tests to verify serviceability.
• Document maintenance actions accurately in aircraft forms and digital maintenance systems.
• Collaborate with aircrew and engineers to resolve complex system issues.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an F-16 avionics technician or equivalent military occupational specialty (e.g., USAF AFSC 2A3X3).
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical and electronic principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical orders, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces and varying environmental conditions.

Nice to have

• Prior experience on Block 40/50/52 or other advanced F-16 configurations.
• Familiarity with integrated avionics suites, including fire-control radar and mission computers.
• Aerospace maintenance or electronics certifications (e.g., A&P, FCC license).
• Experience in depot-level repair, modification programs, or foreign military sales (FMS) support.
