What you will do
- Execute aircraft-level functional and end-of-line (EOL) test procedures on fully assembled vehicles to validate system integration and electrical behavior.
- Perform hands-on electrical troubleshooting using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools to resolve system-level issues.
- Verify avionics, electrical systems, and onboard software against detailed schematics and work instructions.
- Capture and document test data and generate actionable reports to support engineering investigations.
- Collaborate with Functional Test Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive root cause analysis.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, especially when working with high-voltage systems.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in electronics testing or system-level validation within aerospace, aviation, or complex hardware environments.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in electronics/avionics preferred.
- IPC-A-620 Certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment and ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience executing structured test procedures and documenting results with high accuracy.
- Must have valid US work authorization (no sponsorship available).
Nice to have
- Experience with eVTOL environments, high-voltage systems, or electric propulsion architectures.
- Familiarity with avionics systems and embedded software validation.
- Background in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) applied to production environments.
