TL;DR

Location: Hybrid or Remote (within 2 hours difference from GMT+2). Office located in Barcelona, Spain.

What you will do
- Design and ship production-grade dbt models across Payments, Debt Collection, Risk, and Finance domains.
- Establish a single source of truth for core business metrics and govern canonical KPIs.
- Build domain data products that support both operational reporting and ML feature engineering.
- Own the governance layer, including data contracts, column-level lineage, and semantic definitions.
- Structure the semantic layer to be machine-readable and AI-ready for self-serve BI and AI-powered use cases.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and business leads to translate complex domain logic into precise data models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer building production-grade data models.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
- Advanced dbt expertise in modeling, testing, data contracts, and documentation.
- Proven ability in systems thinking and cross-domain architectural decision-making.
- English proficiency required; CV must be submitted in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python for data tasks.
- Familiarity with data governance and lineage tools like OpenMetadata.
- Domain knowledge in Fintech or financial services.
- Spanish language skills.
