TL;DR
Data Engineer (ITS): Developing and enhancing data platforms for smart transportation solutions with an accent on ETL/ELT processes and Power BI analytics. Location: Hybrid role based in Boecillo/Valladolid, Spain, with relocation support available.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Talend or Prefect.
- Integrate data from distributed microservices-based architectures.
- Model and design data warehouses oriented toward analytical use.
- Develop semantic models and datasets for Power BI.
- Create reusable dashboards and reports for clients and internal solutions.
- Collaborate with backend, product, and analytics teams to optimize data performance.
Requirements
- Proven track record in developing ETL/ELT processes.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in data warehouse design and modeling (star schema, snowflake).
- Experience working with multiple data sources in microservices environments.
- Proficiency in BI tools, specifically Power BI (modeling, DAX).
- Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration and performance optimization.
Nice to have
- Experience with modern data architectures like data lake or lakehouse.
- Knowledge of messaging tools such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Python for data processing.
- Experience in the transportation sector or ITS systems.
