Export Control Advisor (Trade Compliance)

Location: Sweden - Lund; headquarters-based role

What you will do

• Act as the primary point of contact for export control matters across the organization.
• Classify products and software under EU and US export control legislation using ECCN frameworks.
• Collect information and submit export license applications and determinations.
• Run daily restricted party screening and manage embargo and sanctions compliance.
• Develop global and regional export control processes and define business requirements for IT tools.
• Represent the organization before customs and export control authorities and train colleagues.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in export control and international trade under both EU and US legislation.
• In-depth knowledge of ECCN classification, restricted party screening, embargoes, and sanctions.
• Experience with ISP and/or BIS export license processes.
• Experience working in a global business environment and collaborating across cultures and regions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• Analytical thinking, curiosity, attention to detail, prioritization, and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods and a continuous improvement mindset.
