Salary: $151,400 – $260,250 USD (based on location zone).

What you will do

• Own the full payroll cycle for US and Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Manage payroll technology platforms, specifically Workday Payroll and ADP Smart Compliance.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and provincial tax obligations, including year-end reporting.
• Oversee payroll processing for equity instruments like RSUs, ESPPs, and stock options.
• Lead and develop a team of payroll professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
• Design and maintain SOX-compliant controls and lead internal/external audit responses.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on US and Canada payroll experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team.
• Deep expertise in US multi-state payroll tax and Canadian provincial compliance.
• Proven experience managing RSU and equity payroll processing.
• Strong command of payroll reconciliation, general ledger mapping, and accrual processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-growth technology company environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Payroll and Workday HCM.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Smart Compliance.
• Familiarity with Shareworks for stock plan administration.
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or equivalent certification.
