JAMF Engineer

TL;DR

JAMF Engineer (macOS/Endpoint Management): Supporting the administration, deployment, and optimization of Apple macOS endpoint management solutions for a Federal Government customer. Location: Must be based in the United States (Federal contractor role).

Salary: $81,800–$120,000

What you will do

• Administer and maintain JAMF Pro environments for enterprise macOS devices.
• Configure Mac enrollment workflows using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Develop and maintain JAMF policies, configuration profiles, and automated workflows.
• Package and deploy software and OS updates for macOS endpoints.
• Implement security baselines and compliance controls for federal requirements.
• Provide Tier II/III support for JAMF-related incidents and service requests.

Requirements

• Must be a US-based candidate eligible for federal clearance.
• 3+ years of experience administering JAMF Pro in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Shell.
• Knowledge of macOS administration, security, and endpoint management best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Federal Government agencies and NIST 800-53/FISMA compliance.
• Experience integrating JAMF Pro with Microsoft Intune or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Certifications: JAMF Certified Admin/Expert, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience with identity management platforms like Microsoft Entra ID or Okta.
