What you will do

• Edit and publish short-form vertical video for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Reformat broadcast segments and original series into platform-optimized social content.
• Design thumbnails, overlays, and text treatments using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Collaborate with social, broadcast, and editorial teams to identify timely content opportunities.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting strict daily deadlines.
• Use analytics to track performance and improve content engagement.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience in digital, social, or broadcast environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Photoshop.
• Strong design skills including typography, layout, and captioning.
• Ability to work a Sunday–Thursday schedule.
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail in a fast-paced newsroom setting.
• Must be able to work from the New York office at least four days per week.

• Background in digital newsrooms or news broadcasting.
• Experience with motion graphics, color correction, and audio editing.
