What you will do

• Produce, develop, and edit multi-platform social media content including text, photo, and video.
• Collaborate with hosts and senior producers to refine editorial tone and voice.
• Identify and rapidly share compelling broadcast moments as vertical social media content.
• Manage social distribution and grow audience engagement across digital and broadcast channels.
• Produce and manage the show podcast and deliver content to sponsor pages.
• Research and write articles and blog posts to support show initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 5 years of social media producing or editorial experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in writing.
• Familiarity with television and digital production procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
