Compensation: $192,932 – $218,657 base salary (Total compensation package: $263,772)

What you will do

• Lead daily clinical laboratory supervision, including scheduling, troubleshooting, and operational oversight.
• Manage and mentor a team of licensed and unlicensed laboratory staff.
• Oversee continuous process improvement, including reagent quality control, validations, and training.
• Facilitate communication between laboratory teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring efforts to support sample volume growth.
• Execute company objectives and key results within the laboratory setting.

Requirements

• Must hold a current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (ASCP, CGMBS, or generalist).
• Must be able to work onsite in Union City, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
• Minimum 4-5 years of CLS experience in a clinical setting.
• Hands-on experience with manual molecular biology protocols (DNA extraction, PCR, automated liquid handlers).
• Proven supervisory experience managing laboratory staff.

Nice to have

• Previous CLIA General Supervisor experience.
• Experience in a cell-free DNA setting.
• Knowledge of medical genetics.
