TL;DR

Staff Sales Analytics Engineer (Medtech): Owning the data foundation for commercial teams by building reports, dashboards, and data integrations with an accent on CRM data hygiene and Salesforce-Databricks connectivity. Focus on driving commercial strategy through advanced analytics, data quality management, and supporting AI-driven sales initiatives.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York City, NY (Hybrid: 2+ days/week in office). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $160,000–$170,000 + bonus + equity

What you will do

  • Build and maintain Salesforce reports and Sigma dashboards for commercial stakeholders.
  • Manage embedded Sigma analytics within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Own CRM data hygiene by partnering with Sales Ops and leadership to ensure data accuracy.
  • Oversee Data Cloud integrations between Databricks data lakes and Salesforce.
  • Support AI initiatives related to sales activity, commercial strategy, and company OKRs.
  • Handle ad hoc commercial reporting requests to support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BI and analytics using modern platforms like Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • 5+ years of SQL experience in data warehouse or data lake environments (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce-heavy environment as an analyst or engineer.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Sales Operations teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and Jira in an agile environment.
  • Hands-on experience building AI automations or agents.
