What you will do

• Serve as the technical authority for composite materials and processes, including resin infusion and out-of-autoclave techniques.
• Lead the qualification of composite materials, structural processes, and design guidelines.
• Author material and process specifications, test plans, and documentation for FAA certification.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure structures meet strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance requirements.
• Support failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Interface with the FAA and DERs to support certification and conformity efforts.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace composite materials and structures.
• Proven expertise in composite behavior, including fatigue, damage tolerance, and repairability.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 23/27), Advisory Circulars, and ASTM standards.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Must be authorized to work in the US as the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
