What you will do

• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, accrual adjustments, and account reconciliations.
• Gather and input data for semi-monthly or bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Track, categorize, and report on payroll-related costs to identify trends and variances.
• Help build and improve accounting workflows and system integrations using AI and automation.
• Pull data, build reports, and respond to ad hoc business inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve exception-based transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or Data Analytics.
• Must be based in the US.
• Strong attention to detail and a natural bias toward accuracy.
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel or willingness to develop strong skills quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical instincts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
