What you will do

• Conduct information security risk assessments for internal initiatives and third-party suppliers.
• Review contracts to ensure alignment with security requirements and best practices.
• Assess cloud-based (SaaS) technologies including AWS and Azure environments.
• Provide security consulting to business groups to protect confidential information.
• Report on risk assessment status and track remediation plans with stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical security context into common business language for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Information Security and IT.
• Must obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance.
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and industry standards.
• Experience with cloud security assessments (AWS/Azure).
• Excellent report writing and negotiation skills.
• University degree or college diploma in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Risk Management).
