Senior Security Engineer

What you will do

• Operate in a 24×7 security environment, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with shift rotations and handovers.
• Oversee IAM operations: user provisioning, role-based access control, privileged access reviews, and account lifecycle tasks (unlocking, disabling, MFA resets).
• Develop and enforce access policies and conditional controls; support data protection policy rollout and monitoring.
• Implement and monitor endpoint protection and threat detection tools; continuously monitor and respond to security incidents and critical system issues.
• Respond to security service requests and incidents, escalate high-severity incidents per SLAs, and maintain audit trails and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance initiatives, risk assessments, and internal audits; maintain SOPs for onboarding/offboarding and access governance.

Requirements

• Work authorization: legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; no employer sponsorship available.
• 3+ years of IT experience with 2+ years of information security experience (must).
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC2), and best practices.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and identity management systems.
• Familiarity with incident response, threat analysis, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
