What you will do

• Design equipment, subassemblies, and components based on customer requirements and company capabilities.
• Conduct analytical studies including vacuum vessel analysis, heat transfer, and structural analysis (static and dynamic).
• Create and release engineering documentation through the ECO process and manage Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Develop test plans and design of experiments for prototype development and testing.
• Collaborate with operations, electrical, process, and software engineering teams.
• Continually develop design standards to increase the efficiency of the design and build processes.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or an MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD 2D/3D CAD systems.
• Experience designing capital equipment assemblies, subassemblies, or components.
• Must be based in Horsham, PA.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites and supplier facilities.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with plumbing system design for high purity gas and wet chemical processing.
• Knowledge of robotics, automation, industrial control systems, and SEMI regulatory standards.
• Experience designing equipment for cleanroom environments and creating P&ID.
• Finite element analysis (FEA) experience (structural, thermal, or fluid).
• Experience with SAP or similar PLM systems.
