What you will do

• Build tooling and services for Mac, Windows, and Linux desktops to enable software distribution and management.
• Implement cloud and on-premises services for dependency, project, and entitlements management.
• Innovate platforms by integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and modern cloud technologies.
• Partner with SRE, SLDC, and business-aligned engineering teams to deliver industry-leading software development practices.
• Manage the full software lifecycle from requirements and design through testing, release, and decommissioning.

Requirements

• Proficiency in designing and developing software using Golang, Python, and Java.
• Working knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows), networking protocols, and file systems.
• Ability to architect and reason about performance and security in complex distributed systems.
• Solid experience with version control, CI/CD, and configuration management tools.
• Strong technical communication skills and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-platform command-line tool development.
• Proficiency with package managers such as nix, apt, or yum.
• Experience designing applications in AWS using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of runtime containers like Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.
